The first time I met Gerard (2007) I showed him this picture and was like “I love this photo. It always makes me smile and wonder what’s going on. It looks like you’re stealing Frank’s trophy or something!” (Why do I say things? Srsly.)
He stared at it closely with his concentration face on for a few seconds and then was just like “I’m pretty sure Frank made an inappropriate comment. *Points to himself* That’s nervous laughter right there.”
I may or may not have snorted in front of Gerard Way at that point.
Me: “Oh right! How about Bob? He looks a bit disturbed there in the background. Did he overhear this comment?”
G: “Yeah, he didn’t think it was necessary. That’s usually what happens. *Finger on Frank* Inappropriate comment. *Finger on himself* Nervous laughter. *Finger on Bob* Not finding it funny.”
HAHAHA :’) so that was best thing I’ve ever heard.
Now I just need to hear Frank’s side of the story! ;)
